Since December 2020, I have illustrated 23 volumes of the “Good Morning, Good Night: The Complete Humanities Library Series,” published by Gimyoungsa in collaboration with the 3·1 Cultural Foundation (December 2020 – January 2026).
The series explores a wide range of humanities topics in depth. My role has been to translate this rich and sometimes complex content into simple, witty illustrations that make the books more approachable for readers.
To convey complicated ideas intuitively, I focus on clean lines and clear use of color, pursuing visual clarity throughout the series. Each illustration is designed not as decoration, but as a tool for understanding, helping readers engage with knowledge in a more relaxed and enjoyable way.
This project goes beyond traditional illustration work. It centers on connecting content and readers, and I have continued to participate in this ongoing series to this day.
